PROGRAMS
The Support Center offers our Community Development Credit Unions (CDCUs) support in equity and expertise in administering home and small business lending programs. We also offer policy, research and technical assistance to our affiliates to aid in their sustainability and efficiency. Finally, we provide capital support that generates general deposits, secondary capital and lending funds. We strive to help our affiliates guarantee all income levels will have access to affordable financial services.
GRANTS AVAILABLE
The Support Center invites each of our CDCUs to participate in National Development Council’s 4-course Economic Development Finance Professional (EDFP) Certification Program. The Support Center is partnering with BB&T to co-sponsor the 2011-2012 training program and inviting our Credit Unions to select up to two staff members to participate in the four classes.

As one of the co-sponsors of the program, The Support Center’s cost will be $600 per student, a savings to you of $4,000. The program is a rigorous and comprehensive training series that requires a 4-week commitment from each participant. Only serious people who can devote four weeks (one week per quarter) to the program should consider registering.
